now at six. it was a cased that shocked even they police. a young girl found unconscious and bleeding in gang raped for hours. tonight kron four takes you inside the courtroom as two defendants hear the verdict bars for the rest of their lives. the verdicts are in for two of the defendants in the richmond high school rape case. guilty on all counts. they've both been found guilty of taking part in the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl outside her high school in 2009. marcelles peter and jose montano. they've been convicted on charges including rape and the incident happened outside the school during a

homecoming dance. the victim had been drinking alcohol. police say as many as a dozen men were on the scene when she was raped and beaten. defense attorneys never denied the suspects were on the scene - or played some part in the attack. marcelles peter and jose montano now face long sentences. court to hear the verdicts, and has more. at other gang rape of 60 year-old girl to place four years ago at please sit dozens to part choral witness stand. hi of 32 more men were convicted pierre >> we the jury and the above entitled case, find the defendants guilty of forcible rape while acting in concert.

"unacceptable." and mayor jean quan thanked the community for providing information to help catch some of the suspects. two of the suspects are jeffrey clark and lamar caldwell. both - from oakland. police haven't detailed yet exactly what buildings they're accused of vandalizing. also arrested -- tanzeen doha of san jose. the three men are the only bay area residents arrested6 others arrested are from 'outside' the area. their court dates have not been released yet. oakland police have released new video and photos of some of the vandals, in hopes the public can help in identifying them. you can see in this video a man on a bike kicking and denting a car. other photos show people trying to break the windows of businesses in the downtown area. some people were also caught on camera spray painting slogans on the ground. if you know who any of these

people are. oakland police shooting up. dataquick says the median home price in june was 555- thousand dollars. up 33 percent from one year ago - and the fastest pace on record. alameda county saw the highest increase in the bay area -- going up 44% in one year. the median price there is now 540-thousand dollars. kron4's maureen kelly went to alameda county were she found a home that sold for nearly double it's asking price. >>this four bedroom, three bath home in berkeley's elmwood park neighborhood listed in june for just under one-point-seven million dollars.and after only 12 days on the market.it sold for a little over 2-point-4 million. more htan 700-thousand dollars.over asking. aren't surprised. bloo

"if they are not spending your premium dollars on your health -- at least 80% of it -- they've got to give you some money back." eight and a half million people will see the refund this summer - the white house says. amounting to -- on average -- one hundred dollars per person but even with a little extra cash, americans may not be convinced according to a cnn/orc poll -- a majority of americans oppose the law. but polling also shows that more than a quarter of those who don't support it, say it should go even further. since the president signed the law in 2010 republicans have voted nearly 40 times

he says the first mistake was keeping the information on a shared server. the second -- letting one individual see it -- and move it. carter didn't detail the case since it's an ongoing criminal investigation. but he does say that the leak caused "very substantial" damage to the u-s. why a destructive and unwelcome pest known as the guava fruit fly has been found in san jose. spraying is now underway. kron four's rob fladeboe shows us where it's happening. by thursday evening, specially equipped fruit- fly-fighting trucks like this one cruising mclaughlin avenue will have covered some 19 square miles in south central san jose.
